Dennis Leiner received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Optics from the University of Rochester Institute of Optics, and his Ph.D. in Optical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. He is listed as inventor or co-inventor on more than 20 patents and has published numerous papers in the areas of medical optics and optical instrumentation. He is the founder of Lighthouse Imaging Corporation.
Dr. Leiner is a United States delegate to the International Standards Organization (ISO) overseeing worldwide endoscope standards. He is a member of the Board of Directors of OEOSC, the technical arm of ANSI concerning optics. In addition, he is the project leader responsible for improving quality standards for endoscopes worldwide.
Dennis Leiner is Vice President of the Bioscience Association of Maine.
