About Us

Dennis Leiner received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Optics from the University of Rochester Institute of Optics, and his Ph.D. in Optical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. He is listed as inventor or co-inventor on more than 20 patents and has published numerous papers in the areas of medical optics and optical instrumentation. He is the founder of Lighthouse Imaging Corporation.

Dr. Leiner was a United States delegate to the International Standards Organization (ISO) from 2013-2022 and was project leader for worldwide endoscope standards. He was a member of the Board of Directors of OEOSC, the technical arm of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) concerning optics and was Chairman of the Board from 2021-2022.

Dennis Leiner is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Bioscience Association of Maine.
